Claymore 98

The twins vs. Priscilla.

Summary:
Somewhere in the rocky landscape, Uma is running with the heavily Cynthia in her arms. Cynthia had sacrificed herself to save Uma from Beth's attacks and she has lost all of her limbs and a portion of her organs. Cynthia tells Uma to kill her, but Uma refuses to give up and attempts to use yoki synchronization to help Cynthia regenerate.

Priscilla is not a recommended part of your daily diet, and here's why.

Back in the woods, Alicia is still struggling to control her power, and Riful is shocked by Priscilla's nearby presence. Alicia then dashes off, leaving Riful to wonder what Alicia is up to. Not far away, the awakened Beth continues to attack Priscilla, but Priscilla easily wards off the attacks. Priscilla then moves in for the kill, but Alicia arrives to drive her back. Alicia then also awakens and the twins double team Priscilla. Beth claws off Priscilla's left arm and Alicia slices off Priscilla's right leg, but Priscilla grabs hold of Alicia and decapitates the current no. 1. Beth starts crying uncontrollably after witnessing her sister's death, and Priscilla muses that the remnant of human emotion within the twins means that the Organization has failed in their experiment. Beth then launches an all-out attack against Priscilla, and Priscilla states that Beth will soon be joining her sister.

The ultimate slicing machine is no more.

Nearby, Riful is in disbelief over how quickly Priscilla was about to defeat two strong awakened enemies. Meanwhile, Clare notices a familiar yoki nearby.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A mostly action chapter again, but at least we found out what happened to Uma and Cynthia. Cynthia is hurt very badly by Beth, and Uma being a newbie at yoki synchronization certainly doesn't help. It doesn't look like any of the active enemies are concerned about these two, but that'll change soon when Luciela/Rafaela launches the next round of spikes.
Most of this chapter is of course dedicated to Priscilla whooping Alicia and Beth left and right. The current Priscilla is so powerful now, she can nonchalantly manhandle the awakened no. 1 and no. 2 without using her own awakened form. Priscilla definitely powered up some time after she ditched Raki, since before that she was starving herself. My guess is she probably ate all the residents of the village that she and Raki were in. We are still no closer to finding out why Priscilla ditched Raki and ran off by herself, but perhaps we'll get a Priscilla and Clare confrontation really soon. Clare, even with all of Rafaela's knowledge, is probably hopelessly outclassed at this point. And of course there is still Luciela/Rafaela to worry about. A Priscilla vs. Luciela/Rafaela fight would definitely be epic (crossed fingers).
Lastly, I liked how this chapter showed that Alicia and Beth are not merely robots of the Organization, and they actually have human feelings and care for each other. Unfortunately in front of the godlike powers of Priscilla this didn't mean very much. Farewell, Alicia and Beth.
