Shoddy list of highlights:
- Reina finds an inn and ends up sharing a room with Echidna. Echidna declares her intention to participate in Queen's Blade, and she and Reina have a fun night together.
- The OP sequence features the warriors stripped of most of their clothing posing in front of stained glass. The OP song was pretty decent.
Always make sure your breasts are clean.
- Next day, Tomoe and Shizuka are lost (again) in the rain and end up at Melpha's church. Melpha treats the Japanese warriors to a meal, and Tomoe and Shizuka learn that Nanael is staying at the church. Tomoe has a friendly conversation with Melpha who states that she wants to use the queen's power to spread her religion, but Shizuka is wary of Melpha since Melpha is also participating in Queen's Blade.
I think Shizuka is pissed because she dresses skimpily and Tomoe dissed all the skimpy dressers.
- On the streets, Nyx sees a little kid being punished for breaking a plate and this reminds her of her childhood experience as a servant of Elina Vance. Nyx then spots Elina arriving telling the child to get out of the way. Nyx gets pissed off by Elina's presence and is then violated by her tentacle staff.
- At night, Risty tries to sneak into the palace to steal stuff, but she is met by Aldora. Aldora binds Risty with some sort of spell and makes her watch the two upcoming Queen's Blade matches. The purpose of the whole exercise is to fill Risty's heart with darkness.
The Holy Fart
- Tomoe is summoned for a match, and she walks through a portal into an empty arena facing. Tomoe's opponent turns out to be Melpha, and initially both of them hold back. Melpha eventually starts using her "holy poses" which points her nether regions at the opponent, and the attacks manages to reveal Tomoe's breasts. After learning that Melpha's plans are to spread the practice of these embarrassing poses, Tomoe shows her true powers and defeats Melpha with one strike.
Apparently enchanted blades are good for cutting fireballs created by holy farts.
- The second match is Elina vs. Nyx in an area full of lava. Elina eventually remembers Nyx and makes fun of her. Nyx gets violated by her tentacle staff again and powers up and starts shooting fire at Elina, and after a while Elina is pushed back towards a cliff.
The strangest power up I've ever seen.
- After watching the matches, Risty becomes all hot and bothered because of Aldora's spell. Risty strips off all of her clothing and loses consciousness, and Aldora is pleased that Risty has succumbed to her spell.
- The ED features mostly Mellona walking around with shots of Airi and Menace. The song is the type song you hear at like a jazz night club. It's not bad.

I suppose this episode signals the official start of Queen's Blade, and it looks like all the matches that Nanael was trying to rig last season didn't really count. I wonder how Queen's Blade works; are the losers eliminated from the competition, or is it going to be "regular season" matches and then the best few warriors get to have a playoff? I doubt the warriors who lost matches will be instantly kicked off the show, but we'll see.
Organizational questions aside, the fights themselves were okay but nothing too notable. It's funny how quickly Melpha lost after Tomoe became serious. Tomoe thought that she had found a conservatively-dressed new friend in this foreign land, but unfortunately Melpha was making and indecent poses and you can clearly see the shape of her nether regions because of her tight pants. I suppose for Tomoe, indecency is just as offensive if not more offensive than injustice lol. As for the Nyx vs. Elina fight, I think Elina deserves a lesson, but Nyx is too... uh... tentacle-rape-prone for my tastes. Let's see if Elina has any special moves with that spear of hers.
Overall, this was an okay episode. Nothing really outstanding or terrible, and the story is moving along at a "normal" pace. Looks like Risty will be serving under Aldora now, and that'll probably lead up to some run-ins with Reina, Tomoe and Shizuka. I'm also looking for Nanael's first match to see how she deals with her holy yogurt lol.
