Making fun of your opponent's appearance is one way to get them off their game.
Summary:
After revealing his true form, the first thing Dongfang does is to justify his otaku habits and make fun of Akua's lack of growth (in regards to her figure). Akua is embarrassed but quickly gets back to business and demands that Dongfang hand Moka over, but Dongfang has no plans to do that and unleashes his Dimensional Sword attack that Akua was barely able to dodge.
Happy reunion or not so happy reunion?
Realizing she isn't going to beat Dongfang in a fair fight, Akua orders her cronies to bring out the bound and injured Mr. and Mrs. Wong as bargaining chips. While Dongfang mulls over what to do, Akua notices a sound from the room behind Dongfang and attacks with her Dimensional Sword. It turns out Dongfang erected a barrier to hide Moka and company, and Akua's attack shatters the barrier to reveal Moka, Tsukune, Kurumu and Mizore, all of whom have regained consciousness. Moka's sealed memories flood back into her and she remembers what Akua has done, but she decides that she should go with Akua in order to save Mr. and Mrs. Wong. Moka joins Akua on the rooftop and they are taken away by a giant airship. Tsukune cries out for Moka, but Dongfang Bubai tells Tsukune that he should be pursuing Moka now that the hostages have been released. As Dongfang is vowing to make Akua and her backers pay for what they did to his family, he suddenly notices a foreign presence nearby. Out of the smoke, Hakuto Kaneshiro and Kyria Yoshii emerge much to the surprise of Tsukune, and the two former Anti-thesis members offer to help Tsukune rescue Moka.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Some surprising developments this chapter as the battle at the Wong's compound comes to a close. As expected, Akua can't take down Dongfang by force, so she resorts to playing the hostage card. What was unexpected though was that Moka actually left with Akua in order to exchange for Mr. and Mrs. Wong. I thought Moka would be eager to beat some sense into Akua after regaining her memories, but Moka remained composed and thought of the hostages. Perhaps Moka also wants to learn more about what Fairy Tale is up to and offered herself in order to get some intel? Looks like the rematch between Akua and Moka won't be happening anytime soon.
Anyways, Moka leaving with Akua sets up the next phase of the story which would be Tsukune and friends trying to rescue Moka, but Tsukune might be getting a bit of help from old enemies Hakuto. Hakuto and Kyria did reconcile with Tsukune at the end of the last season, but they are now officers in Fairy Tale, so that makes their appearance pretty suspicious. We'll have to see if these two former villains are reformed or still evil.
