Deadman Wonderland 38-B

This is the next chapter of DW, just not chapter 39.

Let the bloody chaos begin.

Summary:
Tamaki immediately orders two of his remaining Forgeries to attack the Red Man. The Forgeries' blood snakes bite into the Red Man, but the attacks have little effect much to Tamaki's surprise and the Red Man easily kills the Forgeries. Makina's guards start shooting but the Red Man takes them out easily too. Makina is going to retreat, but she changes her mind after seeing something that the Red Man is holding. Makina charges in with her anti-Nameless-worm sword, but the Red Man is able to block that as well. The Red Man then creates a whirlwind that sends Makina, guards and debris flying all over the place.

While the Red Man was causing havoc, Tamaki watches from the sidelines and can't believe the Forgeries or the anti-Nameless Worm weapons are not working. At this moment, Toto chimes in and reveals that DW has always been under his control, and thus Tamaki is just a pawn in his games and never had access to the Red Man's real data.

Another pretty short chapter, and that's probably why the authors labeled it as 38 part B rather than 39. The big revelation this chapter is that Tamaki got played himself, and Toto is the person who has been in control of the prison for quite some time. It kind of makes sense given how Toto can wander around the prison freely and his knowledge of the Wretched Egg. This means that Tamaki is now out as chief villain, and the team of Toto and the Red Man will be the main antagonists probably until the end of the series. We don't know what Toto is planning, but he is possibly even nuttier than Tamaki so it can't be good. Toto is also going to be very hard to take down now that he has access to blood samples from other Deadmen. I'm sure Super-Ganta will be up to it though. The last conflict to resolve in this series will probably be the one between Ganta and Shiro/Red Man.

On another note, the Red Man seems to be holding something in her right hand which is probably Azami's head. It's going to be quite a moment when the Red Man shows that off to Ganta.
